Dangote Refinery Plans IPO at ₦525 Per Share, Targeting $1.5 Billion Raise
Dangote Refinery is reportedly planning an initial public offering (IPO) at a proposed price of ₦525 per share, with the listing expected to raise approximately $1.5 billion in fresh capital.
The proposed IPO would give investors an opportunity to acquire shares in one of Nigeria’s largest industrial projects, as the Dangote Refinery moves towards accessing the Nigerian capital market.
At the proposed ₦525 per share, investors would need the following amounts for different share parcels:
* 100 shares: ₦52,500
* 1,000 shares: ₦525,000
* 10,000 shares: ₦5,250,000
* 100,000 shares: ₦52,500,000
If completed, the offering could become one of the most significant capital-market transactions in Nigeria, potentially broadening public ownership of the refinery while providing Dangote Industries with additional capital.
Investors should note that the ₦525 price and $1.5 billion fundraising target are proposed figures and may be subject to regulatory approval and changes before the final offer is launched.
