U.S. Bombs Three Iranian Nuclear Sites, Trump Warns of More Strikes if Peace Not Reached

President Donald Trump announced that the United States had carried out airstrikes on three key nuclear facilities in Iran, declaring the operation a “spectacular military success” and warning Tehran that “there are many targets left” if peace is not achieved swiftly.

In a dramatic escalation of the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that American forces bombed Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites. Trump, addressing the nation from the White House alongside top officials, said the strikes aimed to “destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity and stop the nuclear threat posed by the world’s No. 1 state sponsor of terror”.

I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” Trump said, flanked by Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. He warned, “There are many targets left. This was the most difficult of them all by far, and perhaps the most lethal. But if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill”.

The operation marks the first direct U.S. military attack on Iranian soil in decades and follows more than a week of Israeli airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure. U.S. officials said the strikes used advanced “bunker buster” bombs, specifically the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, to target the deeply buried Fordow facility, which experts say only the U.S. possesses the capability to destroy.

Trump’s decision comes after months of mounting tension and failed nuclear negotiations with Tehran. Israeli officials confirmed they were in “full coordination” with the U.S. in planning the attacks, which were practiced in joint military exercises last year, according to defense sources. The Pentagon is expected to provide further details at a briefing.

The president praised both American and Israeli forces for their roles in the operation, stating, “No military in the world could have done what we did tonight. Not even close”. He reiterated his hope for a peaceful resolution but made clear the U.S. is prepared for further action: “If they do not make peace, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier”.
