Al-Ahli Defeat Al-Nassr on Penalties to Lift Saudi Super Cup
Al-Ahli were crowned Saudi Super Cup champions after edging Al-Nassr 5-3 on penalties following a thrilling 2-2 draw. Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo Brozović struck for Al-Nassr, while Franck Kessié and Roger Ibañez found the net for Al-Ahli.
In the decisive shootout, Al-Ahli held their nerve to convert all five spot-kicks, with Abdullah Al-Khaibari’s miss proving costly for Al-Nassr.
Despite the defeat, Cristiano Ronaldo etched his name into the history books, becoming the first player ever to score 100+ goals for four different clubs — Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Al-Nassr.
