Real Madrid has sent a formal letter to UEFA’s disciplinary bodies concerning the ongoing “Negreira Case,” presenting what it describes as new evidence.
The club claims the evidence strengthens earlier indications of long-term, opaque payments made by FC Barcelona to former refereeing official José María Enríquez Negreira.
It argues that these payments were carried out through different corporate structures without clear justification, raising concerns about influence over the refereeing system.
Real Madrid says the situation poses a serious threat to sporting integrity and has urged UEFA to resume its disciplinary investigation without delay.
The club also confirmed it will continue participating in the criminal proceedings as a private accuser and will pursue all necessary actions to protect football’s integrity.
